PC Gaming & Desk: the ones I still recommend
Monitors, peripherals, and the rest of the desk: the gear I run my own setup on. This is the category where a great spec sheet most often hides a dealbreaker, so the reviews focus on the things you only learn after living with a piece of kit, like coil whine, panel quirks, and what the warranty process is really like.
High-end desk gear is where “looks amazing in the first hour” and “still worth it after a year” drift the furthest apart. A display can have a stunning panel and a power supply that hums; a peripheral can feel great and then get abandoned by its software. So these reviews lean hard on the long tail: what broke, what annoyed me daily, and how painful support was when something went wrong.
