Greentoe is a name-your-price marketplace for new electronics, photography gear, appliances, and instruments. Instead of paying sticker, you make an offer and authorized dealers accept it, pass, or counter. Everything is new, sold through authorized sellers, and comes with the full manufacturer warranty.
My take: One of the few alternative retailers I trust enough to recommend. The deals are real and they come from legitimate, authorized dealers, not the grey-market or shady sellers you have to vet everywhere else, and the customer support has been good. You are not left waiting, either: offers come back within a day. It has become where I go for big purchases, TVs and sound systems especially.
