Fair warning up top: I have had this a week, so treat the 9 as a strong first impression, not a verdict that has survived a year of dog hair and firmware updates.
With that said, it has already out-cleaned the Mova P50 it replaced. The reason I bought it is the roller mop. Instead of a flat pad pushing the same water around, the roller scrubs and rinses itself, which feels a lot more hygienic in practice.
Set this up first
Ecovacs is not clear enough about what its app collects for my taste, so the first thing I did was open the privacy settings and switch off every telemetry option. The vacuum runs fine that way.
What I like
- Cleans more thoroughly than my Mova P50 so far
- Roller mop stays cleaner than a flat spinning pad

- Ecovacs' privacy stance is unclear, so I turned off all app telemetry
