Dehumidifiers: the ones I still recommend
A dehumidifier is a workhorse appliance, and the only review that counts is one written after a full humid season of daily emptying, not a weekend trial. These are the units I have run through real summers.
Dehumidifiers are bought in a panic and judged in hindsight. The specs all promise the same pints per day; what they do not tell you is how loud the unit is at 2am, how often you will empty the tank, and whether the compressor is still going strong next year. That is what these reviews track.
